With the current volume of orders, a significantly more extensive warehouse design is necessary. Due to the good experience we have had with the Hänel storage lift, a second lift was installed in our warehouse from 03/01/2022 to 03/08/2022. The colleagues in the warehouse have already started storing items. As a result, we now have a considerably larger storage area on a smaller footprint. We hope that this lift will save us long walks and provide more clarity in the warehouse.

The managing director of the Weißbach-based company Flexiva has also devoted himself to lawn pavers and plants over the past three weeks. “Everything is designed so that we produce ecologically. On Monday, August 24th, 2020, we welcomed our 2 new trainees for the training as "Electronics technician for industrial engineering". First we went to our main building in Dittersdorf together with the trainer for electronics. In addition to a guided tour, work clothes and keys were accepted here. Then we went back to the production hall in Weißbach to get our own tools and to discuss all other organizational matters.
We wish the new trainees a lot of fun with their training, that they always feel comfortable and acquire a lot of interesting knowledge.

On Tuesday, August 11th, 2020, there was a small surprise party for the managing director for the 30th anniversary of FLEXIVA. The event was originally supposed to take place as part of this year's summer festival, which unfortunately had to be canceled due to Corona.
Our automation manager gave a brief look back at the beginnings and development of the FLEXIVA. What began in an office with 3 people has developed into a growth-oriented company with currently 100 employees, 3 locations, its own wind turbine, several e-charging stations, a fleet of currently 8 company vehicles, a large photovoltaic system and a steadily growing customer base.

This attitude of Mr. Hollnagel, the managing director of FLEXIVA, has shaped the company successfully for 30 years now.

We are now offering our employees the opportunity to obtain their personal desired company bike conveniently and inexpensively from FLEXIVA. You can park it safely during your working hours in the lockable garage for bicycles and motorbikes, which will be set up next to our production hall in December 2020, and charge it free of charge at the charging stations provided. Our employees ride their company bike whenever they want: to work, in everyday life, on vacation or for sports. Our contractual partner is JobRad. The usual care of our green spaces has led to a drastic decline in butterflies throughout Europe.
"Saxony is blooming" is an initiative of the Saxon State Parliament. The Saxon State Foundation for Nature and the Environment (LaNu) provides locally certified seeds for suitable areas as part of the project "Doll's house wanted - blooming meadows for Saxony's butterflies". With insect-friendly management, it serves as a habitat for many insect species and promotes biotope networking in Saxony.
FLEXIVA applied for this project with its meadow behind the production hall in Weißbach and meets the requirements. The preparations have already started. On Saturday, the managing director of FLEXIVA successfully sowed and rolled the seed. Now the seeds can germinate well with the help of plenty of moisture. With a little patience we can soon enjoy a beautiful butterfly meadow.

Operational exploration
On November 12, 2019, another company tour took place in our FLEXIVA. Pupils in grade 9 of a regional high school took a look at our energy-efficient production hall in Weißbach and received information about our company as well as about the apprenticeships for electronics technicians for industrial engineering and industrial clerks.
The students were then given a short tour of our production hall. At the end, they were allowed to carry out a practical exercise, which everyone completed with enthusiasm. We were very happy about the interested students. The doors at FLEXIVA are open to you for student internships and holiday work.
